Introducing TOAD, a fully bespoke Mercedes Sprinter LWB AWD adventure van, designed and handcrafted by MOS Adventure for a family who wanted the freedom to travel, explore and live comfortably off-grid.

Built around real family adventure, TOAD combines luxury campervan design, intelligent space planning and serious all-terrain capability. From its four-wheel-drive platform and all-season insulation to its beautifully crafted interior and sophisticated off-grid electrical system, every element has been designed with adventure in mind.

This is more than a campervan. TOAD is a purpose-built family adventure vehicle, created for year-round travel, remote escapes and life beyond the campsite.

The Brief:

Every MOS Adventure build starts with a clear vision.

For TOAD, the client’s brief focused on three key priorities:

The ability to sleep and travel six comfortably
A fully integrated dishwasher for practical family living
A durable, natural cork floor for warmth, comfort, and sustainability

These core elements formed the foundation of the build and from there, the rest of the design evolved. Every detail, from the layout to the materials and systems, was shaped around these priorities, resulting in a highly functional and beautifully considered family adventure van conversion.
