Tarn is the latest custom build from MOS Adventure: a beautifully balanced van designed for a couple (and their three dogs) who need motorway comfort with the freedom to explore far beyond the tarmac.

The Brief:

Built for the Journey and the Destination

Commissioned with long-distance travel in mind, Tarn was engineered to be as comfortable cruising the motorway as it is winding through remote tracks. To deliver on that brief, we fitted an ARB Air Locker differential, giving added confidence and traction when venturing off-road.

But capability never comes at the expense of comfort. Tarn is fitted with a ceiling-mounted Indelb Plein-Air Con 12v air conditioning system, keeping the living space cool and comfortable even in warm climates perfect for both dogs and humans after a day exploring.

Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements – featuring a double Murphy bed at the rear for added flexibility and space optimisation.

A Rolling Home, Made Personal

This isn’t just a van it’s a home on wheels, tailored to the couple’s passions.

At its heart is a tall, custom cupboard designed to house and power the bean grinder and coffee machine, ensuring the perfect brew wherever they stop.

For evenings off-grid, there’s also a built-in wine rack to keep bottles secure and ready to enjoy. And after a muddy walk or long hike, the full wet room with integrated toilet and shower brings hotel-style convenience on the road.

A Cohesive Interior with Bold Character

Tarn’s interior strikes the perfect balance between rugged functionality and refined design. At its core is a palette of rich dark greys, natural wood accents, and brushed stainless steel finishes, creating a sleek, contemporary feel that’s both practical and timeless.

But what really sets Tarn apart are the pops of vibrant orange — a carefully chosen detail that runs through the interior to reflect the couple’s personality and bring energy to the space. The striking Yeti Tundra in King Crab Orange, these bold touches offer visual continuity and a sense of adventure throughout the van.

The result is a cohesive and stylish space that feels every bit as inviting as it is durable — designed to stand up to real travel, muddy boots, and dogs fresh from long walk, while still feeling like a modern home on wheels.
