Where the MOS story began

Hector was a significant milestone for MOS Adventure, our first AWD LWB Mercedes Sprinter conversion, built by us for us.

Designed around life with our young family of three children and our dog, Hector was created to give us the freedom to explore further, stay away longer and make the most of every opportunity to get outside.

This wasn't a van designed around a showroom brief. It was designed around real family adventures.

And over the years, Hector became exactly what we hoped he would be.

From Wales to Spain

Hector has took us on some incredible journeys.

We explored Scotland, Wales, France, Spain and Andorra, travelling through mountains, coastlines and remote countryside along the way.

From weekend adventures closer to home to longer European road trips, Hector gave our family the freedom to simply pack up and go.

Some of our favourite memories weren't about reaching a particular destination. They were about waking up somewhere completely different, opening the doors and stepping straight into the landscape.

A Van Built to Be Used

Hector was never intended to sit on a campsite.

It was designed as a genuine adventure van somewhere to sleep, cook, relax and recharge between days spent exploring.

Living in the van as a family also taught us a huge amount about what really matters in a conversion.

Good storage matters.

A well-designed layout matters.

Durable materials matter.

And so does creating a space that feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time.

These lessons have gone on to influence every MOS Adventure conversion we've built since.
